Sow Good Saturday

Join Us!

Join The Baton Rouge Garden Alliance, Baton Roots & Geaux Get Healthy for a fun morning on the first Saturday of the month that includes a garden workshop, cooking demo, produce share, and yoga!

Baton Rouge Garden Alliance members can join in the monthly event at Baton Roots Community Farm.

Check out the natural farming garden demo for tips and tricks to use in your garden and connect with other volunteers and learn about sustainable agricultural practices.

Sow Good Saturday starts with a fun, interactive workshop on gardening/farming led by Baton Roots, followed by an all-levels yoga class designed to get the whole family moving. Yoga mats are available on-site!

Afterward, Chef Traci and the American Heart Association lead a delicious, farm-fresh cooking demo and taste test. Participants can also take home produce from Baton Roots at the end of the event!
